Our Holiday Wreath Roundup

Is anyone else like me + love to decorate for the holidays as soon as the snow starts to fly? Ok, being a Southern Alberta girl, sometimes that first snowfall is even too early for me, but you get what I mean! I’ll be the first to admit, I can’t wait to hang a beautiful festive wreath on my door each year. Such a simple way to add a festive flare to the façade of your home or business.

How about utilizing the back of your door + enjoy the views from the inside too? Wreaths don’t only have to hang on doors. Try layering them over a mirror + frame or incorporate it into your seasonal centerpiece on your table.

We are loving the simplistic + understated wreaths this year. Fresh greens + magnolia leaves with an accent of pinecones will do the trick. Here is a roundup of our favorite wreaths for this season to deck your halls.

In our travels we also stumbled across this ever so cute reindeer wreath holder, how cute is he?! What a perfect way to add a little personality to a simple wreath!

2019 Color Trends

It’s been a few weeks since Benjamin Moore announced Metropolitan (AF-690) from their Affinity series as their color of the years for 2019 + our love for it is growing!

A calm, serene cool grey that can be paired perfectly with blush + green tones.

We are happy to see that some of our other favorites are in the Color Trends for 2019!

Balboa Mist (OC-27) - In that ever popular “Greige” series (for those of you new to this term, beige + grey = greige), this is a light neutral that can go effortlessly with almost any color

Kendall Charcoal (HC-166) - Dark enough grey to give that dramatic + moody effect without going quite black. We’ve used this in both residential + commercial and loved it!

Cloud White (OC-130) - Next to Simply White (Color of the year in 2016 + still going strong), this is our go-to for kitchen and trims color when looking for a soft white

Hale Navy (HC-154) - Let’s do just that + hale to this navy! Just used this is in my sons’ room. It’s perfect when combined with crisp white trim + warm wood accents. Another great place this could be used is a half bath vanity or kitchen island for a punch of color with a timeless look because let’s face it, navy is the new black!
